“House” is an American medical drama T.V series spanning over eight seasons. The show began on November 16, 2004, and concluded on May 21, 2012. The series follows the life of the main character Dr Gregory House, an antisocial doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and his team in their attempts of solving puzzling cases. The team of doctors work at Princeton- Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey. He is a genius and his diagnosis are logically derived and mostly on unconventional approaches. His conclusions are turned down by his team members but eventually House is right. His character resembles the famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes and his methods of investigation.

House is also addicted to the use of Vicodin to manage his leg pain which leads him to some serious problems. His original team consists of DrEricForeman, DrRobert Chase, and Dr Allison Cameroon. The sixth season began on September 21, 2009, and ended on May 17, 2010. It consisted of 22 episodes. In season five House suffers from hallucinations due to his Vicodin addiction and the sixth season opens from his treatment in the Mayfield Psychiatric Hospital. DrNolan treats him. Initially, House is reluctant to undergo a treatment and tries to evade it, but when he understands the serious issues he is facing within himself, he agrees to treatment.

Eventually, he is discharged from the hospital, and his medical license is reinstated. House decides not to continue with his profession, but it does not turn out to be as easy as he thinks. Meanwhile, Foreman has taken the lead of the team but the other team members back out. Chase is caught in a problem by intentionally providing wrong treatment to an African dictator leading to his death. However, he escapes with the support of Cameroon. House returns to his job and brings back the members, except Cameroon who runs away from the Hospital as well as from Chase. There are complexities in House and Lisa’s relationship, and eventually, they acknowledge their love for each other.
