Ta Bole Ki Prem Debona is a Bengali TV serial. It premiered in 2011 and ended in 2012. It aired on the Sananda TV channel. It comes under the genres of romance, drama, and soap operas. The series starts with a young man, Lal Mukherjee. Lal falls in love with Begum. Begum is from a different caste. However, after a short time of courtship, they get married. They are a happy couple and love each other a lot. Lal plans to come back to Kolkata. He did not inform his family that he had gotten married. When Lal and Begum reach home, they are shocked to see Lal with his wife. Lal’s grandfather, the head of the house, is furious and does not accept the marriage. However, Begum impresses the family with her personality and humbleness.

Gradually, the family accepted her as a member of their family. Lal is the youngest of four brothers. His brothers love and pamper Begum. They always side with Begum. Begum’s two sisters-in-law like her and consider her like their sister. However, the second eldest sister-in-law dislikes Begum. She plans to scheme against her to throw her out of the Mukherjee residence.

Her wishes come true when Lal’s ex-lover, Mohini, enters the scene. Mohini and Lal were lovers in the past. They had separated many years ago. However, as Lal is back in Kolkata, he comes across her. Coincidently, Mohini keeps on popping in Lal’s unintentionally. Mohini is stuck in a helpless situation. Out of sympathy, Lal tries to help her. But it creates misunderstandings between him and Begum. Begum assumes he is having an affair with Mohini. It creates distance between them. The allegation hurts Lal, and he distances himself further. He starts spending more time with Mohini. The sister-in-law, who dislikes Begum, adds fuel to the fire. Other members support her. Seeing her family support her, Begum gets motivated to save her marriage. She decides to take the responsibility of creating a new and blooming relationship with her husband by ending all the distractions.
