Jhansir Rani Lakshmibai is a Bengali-dubbed TV serial that aired on Sun Bangla. It originally telecasted in the Hindi-language on Colors TV. It is a historical serial that portrays the life of a young warrior Manikarnika. From a young age, Manikarnika despises British rule in India. As she grows up, she marries the King Gangadhar Rao of Jhansi. This new relationship with the king gives her the power to fight the British for independence. Jhansi is one of the richest kingdoms but is still captured under British rule. Manikarnika hopes to free Jhansi from the clutches he’s of the British. She takes over the throne after the death of the king and holds complete power under her. She fights on the battleground till her last breath.
