Upaali Chatterjee sang the song, Gorol Senche composed by Mayukh Mainak. The show was dubbed in Tamil as Mangayin Sabatham and telecasted on Star Vijay. It was also dubbed in Hindi in the same name and telecasted on Sahara One. Soti Beula is the Assamese dubbed version of this series, and it aired on Focus Hifi. It is one of the highest-rated Bengali series with a TRP rating of 13.

Chandradhar, aka Chand Sadagar, was a big merchant. His business spread across the globe. He was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Manasa wants Chandradhar to become her devotee. But, he couldn’t accept her as his deity. So, Manasa takes revenge and destroys his ships, and kills his seven sons. Behula is the wife of Lakhindar, the youngest son of Chandradhar. After the news that the ships are destroyed, and her husband and his brothers are killed, she steps out of home with a strong decision that she would come back only with them. With her courage and devotion, Behula brings back her husband and her brothers-in-law along with the ships. The story shows how devotion and true love create magic.
