Vidya, essayed by actor Kavitha Gowda, is a loving, caring, and compassionate girl, who longs for a stable relationship and wants to feel belonged to a caring family. On the contrary, Vinayaka, portrayed by actor Dileep Shetty, is truly independent, and a realistic person who grew up watching his mother being abused and beaten by his father, which has led him to lose faith in the institution of marriage. He has witnessed domestic abuse throughout his childhood, hence refusing to understand the concept of marriage.
