Ahaan Veer Malhotra is a disciplined youth and Ishqi is a person who considers love as the foremost thing in the world. Ahaan and Ishqi meet in a situation and develop hatred against each other. Ishqi gets a job as a secretary of Sarla, Ahaan’s sister Sonu’s future mother-in-law. Sarla sends Ishqi to Ahaan’s house to get the ring size of Sonu for their engagement. Although Ishqi explained her situation that made them enemies, Ahaan doesn’t believe her. Ishqi is engaged to Mayank, a close friend of Ahaan. Later, Ishqi finds out that Mayank is Sonu’s ex-lover and he troubles her. Mayank planned to get his marriage with Ishqi on the same date as Sonu and Raj. In a particular situation, Ahaan disrespects Ishqi and sends her out at night. Later, he realized that it is late night, he decided to pick her. But, he finds her unconscious on the road and saves her. A misunderstanding happens once again when Sarla overhears Ishqi and Sonu’s conversation. Sarla asks Ishqi to touch her feet only then she would allow them to get married. Mayank also states the same and now, Ahaan supports Ishqi for the first time. When Ishqi was out shopping, she finds Riya. Riya introduced herself as the girlfriend of Ahaan. During the Sangeet, Ishqi’s dress tears and Mayank ill-treat her and goes out. Ahaan saves her from the situation by giving her his jacket.

Ishqi’s aunt gets injured and was admitted to the hospital. Ahaan’s mom Savitri, who had been away from the family for years, was also admitted to that hospital. Ahaan’s granny, who doesn’t want Savitri to join their family, once again fears that she might come to her daughter's wedding and hence changes the wedding place. But, Savitri hides in her daughter’s car. Sonu gets some intimate photos of her on her mobile. Without knowing who sent those, she attempted to commit suicide. Later, Ishqi saves her. On the day of their marriage, Ishqi finds out that Mayank is the one who sent photos to Sonu. She wanted to reveal it to everyone, but she fears that Sarla might stop Sonu’s wedding and hence, Ishqi calls off her wedding. When Mayank’s father comes to know why Ishqi called off the wedding, he slaps his son. Angry Mayank maltreats his father that led him to suffer from a heart attack. What happens next? Will Sonu’s wedding happen? What will Riya do if Ahaan has developed a soft heart for Ishqi? The answers reveal the rest of the story.
