Hindi TV Serials Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani Season 2



Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani Season two is the continuation of the storyline from Season one. It starts from the point where Rana Indravadhan Singh dies, and a simple Gayatri turns into a Warrior. To be precise, Season one was about Gayatri and her transformation from a commoner to a warrior while Season two is about Rani, Gayatri’s daughter, who becomes the MLA of the region and fights for Women Rights.

Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani Season one featured the story that happened between the periods 1945 and 1966 after which the Season two starts. Season one was before Independence where the King system of ruling existed whereas in Season two, which is after the Indian Independence, the serial portrays systemized ruling with MLA and MPs in the society. Season two is about the story of Rana Indravadhan Singh and Rani Gayatri’s daughter who is known as Rani throughout the serial. Gayatri gives birth to Rani after the death of her husband, Rana Indravadhan Singh. She flies to a village outside the kingdom, where she yields her daughter and brings her up in a poor family.

Rani is nurtured up by her Grandmother, Rajmata Priyamvada Devvadan Singh Deo, from a poor background. The palace and the kingdom which Rana Indravadhan Singh was ruling, has been subsequently conquered by Maharaja Kaal Singh with the help of the Lady Villian in the serial. Rani gradually falls in love with Raja, son of Maharaja Kaal Singh, who face serious oppositions and finally get married to each other after fighting hard battles. After marriage, Rani Contests for the MLA election and with much efforts and hard work, she becomes the MLA of the constituency. She emphasizes on Women Empowerment and fights for the equal rights that each woman in her land deserves.

The Villian, Nawab Iqbal Khan, who is totally against Women Empowerment, throws hindrances and gives trouble to Rani, which she tactfully manages and keeps coming up. The trending current cast of Season two includes Mohammed Iqbal Khan starring as Nawab Iqbal Khan, Sartaj Gill acting as Raja, Eisha Singh as Rani and Anita Raj as Rajmata Priyamvada Devvadan Singh Deo, Deepshikha as Abida (Iqbal’s Step Mother).
