Jass Bhatia is a Punjabi model turned film and television actor. He was born as Jaskaran Singh Bhatia on June 29, 1988 in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. They moved to Delhi when he was two years old and later, he attended Guru Nanak Public School in Rajouri. Jass belongs to a Sikh lineage. His family is into construction business so if he had not been an actor, he might join on his family business; but he has a strong passion for acting so he shifted to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming a successful actor. He joined the ‘Singh of the Year’ from which he gained recognition. Being a Punjab, he was known for wearing his turban most of the time.

He started his career as a model in year 2006 and he has done print ads, ramp shows and television commercials before he was debuted in Pankaj Kapoor’s Indian romance film, Mausam in 2011. Jass played the character of Kartar, a friend of Sq. Leader Harinder Singh (played by Shahid Kapoor). Later, he essayed the role of Lovely Singh, the funny guy in the group, in the Bollywood romantic film, I Don’t Luv U which stars Ruslaan Mumtaz and Chetna Pande. Jass did a small but significant role in the box-office biographical sports film, Bhaag Mikha Bhaag in 2013, where he played as Mahinder, friend of Milkha Singh (played by Farhan Akhtar). This is the film where Jass chops his hair to fit on his character and also the 6th highest grossing Bollywood film in 2013. In 2014, he played a double role in the crime drama film, Kill Dil which was produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shaad Ali. He acted as an old and wealthy businessman who died early and he also bagged the role of Chimsy, best friend of Disha (played by Parineeti Chopra). He was seen wearing a turban in the Kill Dil.

Jass was also part of the Indian soap, Rab Se Sohna Isshq on Zee TV, where he donned the role of Happy Singh. But this show went off air after almost a year of airing due to low TRP. He is also part of the television drama series, Firangi Bahu on Sahara One in 2013.

Jaspal Singh Bhatti was an Indian television actor and director known for his various television shows and a variety of other programs. Born 3rd March 1955, he was an electrical engineer. His television series Flop Show was huge hit and left a strong legacy. Some of the actors of Vivek Shauq went on to have a robust Bollywood career after their performances on Flop Show. After Flop Show he directed and acted in another popular television series Ulta Pulta and Nonsense Private Limited for the Doordarshan television network. The humorous take on everyday life of middle class population of the country was what fuelled his shows towards popularity. Jassi then directed a feature movie in Punjabi language named Mahul Theek Hai. His movie was a satirical take on Punjab police. The movie was a commercial success and its honest simplicity was much appreciated by the audience.  Jaspal has also acted in several Indian movies. Among them are his role of a security guard in the movie Faana and college principal in Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche. Other Bollywood movie he acted on was Aa Ab laut Chalen in Kadar Khan. His television stint continued with the appearance in Comedy Ka King Kaun as a judge. Another appearance was in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye along with his wife. Jassi set up a studio and training school called Joke Factory in Mohali. He also launched a new television series named Thank You Jijaji which was shot at his MAD Arts studio in Chandigarh. Jaspal poked fun at government with his practical joke on 2009 Chandigarh Carnival. He put up a stall of oils and vegetables and invited the visitors to throw rings around them to win expensive gifts. Jaspal Bhatti was also awarded Padma Bhushan posthumously on Republic Day 2013. Bhatti was known for starting various political parties to poke fun at the political parties during elections. During another year, he started Hawala Party to bring into attention the growing corruption among political leaders.  Jaspal Bhatti passed away on 25 October, 2012.


Meghan Jadhav

Meghan was born on 7th June 1992 into a talented actor/directors family. His father is Subhash Jadhav who is a director and has also acted in a few serials during his time. Meghan has one elder brother Mandar, who is also an actor. He was seen in the serial “ Aladdin”. Meghan currently resides in Mumbai. He also played the role of naughty mischievous Gyaan who is the youngest son of the house in the serial “ Saas Bina Sasural” that aired on Sony TV. Meghan as Gyan looked very cute and he mesmerized everyone with his amazing acting. He was also part of the shows like “Raama the savior”, “ Adaalat”, “Savdhaan India” etc. After having done a major mythological show like “Jai Shri Krishna”, he was offered the role of “Nandan”, brother of prince “ Siddhartha” in the serial “ Buddha”. He played the character of younger Subodh in the serial “ Tere Liye” which was a cameo role. Meghan also acted in a children’s movie “Salaam Bachhe”. His first Hindi movie was “Salaam – The salute” for which he received few awards. He also acted in “Bandu Boxer” and “Zor Laga Ke Haiyaa”. He is rumored to have a girl friend but he didn’t make any comments on the same. He has a fan base that supports him in his career and finds out more information about him.
