Sweksha Bhagat

Sweksha Bhagat is a writer in the television industry. She completed her undergraduate degree in mass media and communication from Delhi University in 2008. Sweksha was a part of the Dramatic Society, Editorial society, and Debating society during her college times. Sweksha held the position of President in the Hindi editorial Society in 2007. She completed the college with a gold medal from Delhi University in her respective field of study. Her love for literature made her pursue her dream for screen playwriting.

She attended the Film and TV Institute of India. Sweksha completed her screenplay writing course here and went on to start her career in the television industry. She is a remarkable screenplay writer who has worked on extraordinary projects to date. Apart from screenplay writing, she is also working as an assistant professor. Sweksha has written scripts for several recognized projects like; Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, Qubool Hai, Kulfi Kumar Bajewaala, Peshwa Bajirao, Suvreen Guggal, and Chakravarthy Ashok Samrat. She is an expert in writing historical period dramas.

"Qubool hai" were the scripts she had written in the initial days of work. This serial is an Indian soap that is based on the Islam community. The plot of the serial was to remove the stereotyped associated with Islam. Qubool hai was successful and, it gave way for four back-to-back continuous seasons. Sweksha also loves writing poetry and short stories. She has written a book named "Pratham Prayas." Sweksha also has done a short film called "Bikhre Sankh." This young lady is a warehouse of skills and talents. Her countless achievements are sound enough to prove it.
