Bojhena Se Bojhena, the Bengali serial, is the remake of the Hindi series, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Gul Khan penned the story. Ashrunu and Praneeta wrote the dialogues and screenplay. Snehashish Jana and Abira Mazumdar directed the series. Arijit Singh and Madhuraa Bhattacharya crooned the opening theme song. Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni produced the serial. Tuban and Dipankar cranked the camera. Sampreeti and Amit edited the series. The series was telecasted on Star Jalsha from 4th November 2013 to 18th June 2016. It was re-telecasted on Jalsha Classic in 2020.
Pakhi is the daughter of Sharat Ghosh Dastidar and Sumitra Ghosh Dastidar. They live a normal life with high traditional values. Pakhi has a strong faith in God, and she values relationships. ASR, aka Aranya Singha Roy, is from a wealthy family who leads a lavish life. He is very close to his sister, Ananya, who is married to Krishnendu Sengupta. Pakhi meets Aranya in a hotel. She skids from the stage and falls in Aranya’s hands. Aranya thought that she had done it intentionally and uploaded the video of Pakhi falling on the internet. After this video release, her family gets embarrassed and couldn’t stay there, and hence they shift to Kolkata. There, Pakhi gets a job in ASR Group of Industries. Pakhi’s mistake in the office makes ASR angry, and he insults her. ASR’s sister Anu asks Pakhi to care for Pamela, who is the future wife of ASR. Pamela stays at ASR’s home. Although ASR doesn’t like Pakhi’s presence at his home, he moves with her friendly. Soon, they fall for each other. Anu’s husband Krishnendu has an eye on Pakhi and creates a ruckus. Soon, ASR breaks his engagement with Pamela. However, Krishnendu and Pamela bring serious troubles to their relationship. The rest of the show deals with how ASR and Pakhi reconcile.
Yash Dasgupta plays Aranya Singha Roy and Madhumita Sarkar plays Pakhi.
