Exodus: Gods And Kings Teasers, Trailers, Video & Songs
The Academy Award winning director has come up with yet another classic historical extravagant movie. The trailer gives a taste of the adventures wrapped inside the film. Moses warns that something powerful is about to arrive. The empire is engulfed in a dark cover. There will be a war, but it will be not between kings, but it will be Gods versus Kings.
There is mass destruction. Thousands of people fight in the war and leave a sombre state across the region. It is an action packed thriller with hundreds of chariots marching ahead, swords swinging in the air to bring down the opponents and fire arrows being shot to burn everything down to ashes. Some very huge unnatural tornados form the background to this massive battle. The fight when the enormous wave is engulfing everyone looks very surreal and this makes the trailer look extraordinary. The theme of the movie dates back to 1300 BC. This was the time of the Pharaohs. They tormented their Jewish slaves. Egypt’s king had two sons, Moses and Ramesess. The king, due to his sickness, wants to pick a ruler for his empire. Ramesess becomes the king. Moses realizes that he is an adopted child and of a Jewish descent. With a desire to free his people from troubles, Moses wishes to fight Ramesses. He leads 600,000 slaves in an epic war and aids them to escape from their dreaded miseries.
The rendition of music for this epic film was done by Alberto Iglesias. The film boasts the presence of legendary actors like Christian Bale and Ben Kingsley. All the historical buildings, costumes are displayed in a very regal manner and hence the trailer is a treat to watch. This film received mixed to negative reviews from the critics. They praised the acting performances and the technological advancement to present the visual effects, but were upset the pacing of the film.
