Plot
A solitary man who speaks about peace and harmony uniting Hindus and Muslims and performs miracles, which gave him the title of Shirdi Sai Baba.
Star Performance
Nagarjuna delivers a calm performance and embodies the spiritual master with ease, even his dialogue delivery is of calm tone. The rest of the actors have also done a decent job. Brahmanandam was casted as the comic relief but was it required?
Analysis
The film has a great nuance between its spiritualization and dramatization, it doesn't try to shove its beliefs down the throats. Nagarjuna has again delivered a commendable performance. The rest of the actors except Brahmanandam he’s not bad but his jokes don’t land first why the makers chose to have a comedic sequence, the film is supposed to be a spiritual experience the jokes are lame and not funny not to discount the performance but honestly Brahmanandam was needed in the film. This movie fails to connect. It all seems pretentious, it doesn't have the same magic Sri Ramadesu had. The cinematography is one of the highlights of this film. The music is also well assimilated. The film will be compared to the Vijay Chander’s edition of Sai Baba as both movies portray the same person. Nagarjuna is fantastic in his portrayal and has played the role with conviction. The second half loses its pace but manages to pick up in the last 30 min. Some scenes, let's just say are because of the creative liberty taken by the director. The film will definitely divide the audience but overall Shirdi Sai will be loved by the devotees of Sai Baba and the fans of Nagarjuna.

Shirdi Sai is an average film which will divide the audience because of its themes but nonetheless the film will be loved by Nagarjuna’s fans and Sai Baba’s devotees. You can watch it once.
