Rahul Sipligunj is a Telugu songwriter, singer and music composer who rose to fame with independent music videos. It is his music video albums that paved him a way to enter the film industry. Rahul made his debut as a playback singer with Naga Chaitanya's debut film '
Josh.' The film was directed by
Vasu Varma and produced by noted producer, Dil Raju.
Music composition was by Sandeep Chowtha, and the film had nine soundtracks. In this movie, Rahul Sipligunj sang the song "College Bulloda" which was penned by lyricist Chandrabose. His next project was Eega (2012) which was a bilingual fantasy film written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad and directed by his son, S. S. Rajamouli.
The film had music composition by M. M. Keeravani. Rahul sang the song 'Ga E Ga Ee Ga Ee' with artists like M. M. Keeravani, Deepu, Rahul Sipligunj,

Mani Sharma. The film fared well at the box office and two songs 'Modatti Saari' sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Sudhamayi.
And another number ‘Soodimande’ was sung by Sahiti and Rahul Sipligunj were easily relatable amongst youths. Songs like 'Mangamma,' 'Poor Boy,' 'Makkikirkiri,,' and 'Galli Ka Ganesh' amongst others have given him unprecedented fame and paved a path to enter into the film industry. Rahul Sipligunj is also popular for the soundtrack in the movie 'Kotha Janta' (2014) that had vocal support of few more artists like

The film was a commercial hit. In the same year, music composer RK composed music for 'Hrudaya Kaleyam' which had
Sampoornesh Babu in the lead role, and he made a debut too with this movie. The number "Naku Shivarathri" was sung by
Geetha Madhuri and Rahul Sipligunj. In the same year, he also sang the number like 'Edhurey Ledhuani' sung by Rahul Sipligunj, LV Revanth for the movie "Aa Aiduguru". There was another number in the same movie titled 'Repo Mapooo" which was sung by Rahul Sipligunj, Chaitra Ambadipudi. The music director was Anand. The songs were disappointing in this movie. “Banno Rani “ was a peppy number sung by Rahul Sipligunj for the movie 'Sankarabharanam'.
The soundtrack has been composed by
Praveen Lakkaraju. The film was a washout at the box office. He also has sung for movies like "Shirdi Sai" (music director M. M. Keeravani), "Prema Katha Chitram " (music composer J.B.) and "
Akhil" (music composer Anoop Rubens). The singer was born in Hyderabad, and his popularity came in his life much before his arrival as a singer in movies.
