Plot
A middle-aged man, who is fondly called Relangi Mavayya, has two sons and a daughter. The elder one is fondly addressed as Peddodu, and the younger one, Chinnodu. Seetha is their cousin. She lost her parents, and is cared for by Relangi Mavayya. Savitri, Relangi Mavayya’s wife, cares for Seetha as her daughter. Savitri’s mother-in-law resides with them. Seetha’s paternal relatives didn’t care for her. They don’t have a good impression of Relangi Mavayya’s family, and they see everyone at his home down. While Peddodu is a short-tempered guy, Chinnodu acts after he feels it is right. However, both are angry young men. Their father is a soft-natured man, and this doesn’t go well with them. They ask him why he doesn’t give sharp replies to the people, who insult him. Peddodu stays at home after resigning from his job due to an issue with his uncle, who is also his boss. Chinnodu moves to Hyderabad and searches for a job. He falls in love with Geetha, Seetha’s paternal cousin. Seetha has been in love with Peddodu from childhood. But, he doesn’t respond to her. In fact, he won’t call her by her name. Though Seetha loves him, his behaviour towards her hurts her. When everyone from Seetha’s paternal home visits a temple festival, an unexpected incident happens, and they are saved by Peddodu and Chinnodu. Will Seetha’s paternal relatives change their wrong ideas about Relanki Mavayya’s family? The rest of the story follows that.
Star Performance
Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu excelled in their roles as brothers. Anjali is good in her role as Seetha. Mahesh Babu and Anjali’s combination scenes are good. In the scene when Seetha react to Peddodu’s Ai at her bride-seeing event, Anjali performs well. During the scene when Peddodu and Chinnodu have an emotional conversation, she emotes well on seeing them united. Jayasudha is good, and Prakash Raj excelled as ever. Rohini should be praised for her lip-sync. Her scenes with Mahesh Babu are also watch-worthy. He teases her often and bites her, which make us feel relatable with our elders. Samantha has nothing significant to do.
Analysis
The film showcases how important the relationships are. Prakash’s Relangi Mavayya character is such a gem that everyone loves. There are no villains except for the situations and the attitude of the relatives. All the characters are finely designed, especially Ramesh Rao’s. His transformation is made neatly. Samantha should’ve been given a few performing scenes. She appears just as a doll. The BGM is fantastic and it elevates the emotional scenes well. The art director should be appreciated for the set he designed for Relangi Mavayya’s home. The visuals are so cool, and the editing is pretty decent.

Verdict
Despite some mistakes, the film has a lot of scenes to enjoy. For the chemistry of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu, and the performances of Anjali and Prakash Raj, the film is definitely watch-worthy!
