MCA,” the Middle-Class Abbayi is scripted and directed by Venu Sri Ram. The film has the beautiful star cast of “ Nani” and Sai Pallavi. Dil Raju produced the film under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Devi Sri Prasad composed the tunes. Besides Nani and Sai Pallavi, the film has the strong supporting cast of Bhumika Chawla, “ Naresh,” “ Aamani,” Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Vijay Varma and Rajeev Kanakala. Sameer Reddy cranked the camera and the editing is handled by Prawin Pudi.

Nani is leading a happy life as a middle-class guy. He shares a good bonding with his sisterin-law, Bhumika. He cares her well and if anyone hurts her, he couldn’t tolerate. Nani is in love with Sai and they enjoy a great time together. Nani’s sister-in-law works in a government office. She is sincere and there comes a day where she lands in trouble created by a dreaded criminal. When Nani comes to know about it, he set a safe zone for her. The rest of the film deals how Nani saves his sister-in-law!

Star Performance

Nani has given a good performance, as usual. Bhumika has got a meaty role and it is a right re-launch pad for the talented lady. Nani and Bhumika’s chemistry is good. Sai Pallavi didn’t have a strong role, yet she has supported well.

Venu Sri Ram has chosen a good action story for Nani and he keeps the audiences engaging with an equal level of action, sentiment, romance and comedy. Yet, it is not a new script. Nani’s character is designed well as a Middle-Class Abbayi and the star has fit in the role perfectly. Sai Pallavi and Nani’s romantic scenes are different. Their liking towards each other and their romance seems to be impressive. The director is good in portraying sentiment and romance.

What’s There?

  • Good performance by the lead stars
  • Nani’s chemistry with Bhumika and Sai is excellent
  • First half is very good with comedy, romance and sentiment

What’s Not There?

  • The second half is serious without any impressive scenes
  • The script is quite old and predictable scenes

Although the Middle Class Abbayi has a few things as the negative points, the film will definitely impress the audiences with the beautiful star cast and their exemplary performances. MCA – watch worthy!
