‘Court’ Reestablishes Nani’s Authority As Producer!

A few days ago, Nani had claimed that if ‘Court’ doesn’t work, the audience can choose to skip his upcoming movie ‘HIT : The Third Case’ as well!

It turns out that the gamble really paid off. The courtroom drama ‘Court : State vs a Nobody’ is well on course to become the second Telugu blockbuster of 2025, with a worldwide collection of approximately 25 crores.

While the revenue may not seem very huge, it is phenomenal because the budget of the movie is just above 4 crores, which was recovered by the opening day collections itself, a rare feat for even some of the best movies in Telugu cinema in the current timeline. The OTT rights were bought well before the release by Netflix for an impressive 8 crores, which mean that this movie has hit the jackpot for Nani in terms of film distribution and production. Interestingly, Nani has not been appreciated as much for backing innovative and gripping projects as he has for his acting. Most of his movies are made on a budget of less than 30 crores, and they earn at least twice, if not enough to make the movie a blockbuster.
