Plot
Dr Royce Thomas and Reethu are the ideal husband and wife, who live happily with 2 kids. Unfortunately, Reethu becomes mentally unstable, after an accident. She is very much attracted to the bougainvillea flower which further puts her stability down. On the other side, many tourists, who visit Kerala are disappearing and the police department is under huge pressure to find them and stop further missings. ACP David Koshy enters the case to find out the mystery of the missing case. While investigating, he suspects Reethu for the disappearance of the tourists. What’s the reason behind his suspicion? Was she the culprit? The rest of the film unties the secrets.
Star Performance
Fahadh once again proves his versatility. He excels as ACP Koshy and impresses the audience. Kunchacko is extremely good as Royce. His emotional performance is impressive. Jyothirmayi did justice to the given role, Reethu. She brings a raw intensity to Reethu’s character.
Analysis
Amal Neerad is well-known for his storytelling technique with technical excellence. The characters are finely designed with psychological depth and the complexity in their nature and the mysterious happenings add extra pace to the screenplay. At every particular interval, the makers leave the audience with a hint. While the audience starts thinking about the left hint, they are supplied with the next twist. This is how a good screenplay of a crime thriller should be. The visuals are amazing, especially the close-up shots of the leads during the intense thrilling scenes. Sushin’s BGM is another big support to elevate the screenplay.
