Plot: Raghuvaran is unemployed even after four of graduation. He has graduated in Civil Engineering and is willing to work in the same field. He falls in love with Shalini, his neighbor's daughter. Shalini at first, avoids him but soon adamantly accepts him. Raghuvaran's mother is a heart patient and needs care. Since, being unemployed, it is his duty to take her care. On one day, when his father and brother is absent, the responsibility of his mother comes on him. He avoids it and goes on a date with Shalini instead.
While returning, he gets the news of his mother's death due to a heart attack. He feels guilty and is depressed with himself. Some days after, he gets a job at a construction firm. He is given the assignment to get a government contract, and he successfully gets it. Arun, owner of a rival company, gets pissed off with this and tries everything to take revenge from Raghuvaran. The movie progresses with Arun planning a big conspiracy against Raghuvaran. Will Raghuvaran overcome the obstacles? Will he be able to complete his assignment? Analysis: The movie revolves around Raghuvaran and his life. It has a strong story and great star cast. Velraj on his debut has surprised everyone with his capabilities. The vengeance and the spooky action makes the movie more dimensional. Dhanush has multi-tasked in the movie and it won't be wrong to say that he has been outstanding in whatever he did. It’s pure entertainment and had all the elements that needs to attract the masses.
Star performances: Dhanush has got to showcase many sides with this movie, and his performance is flawless and unmatched. We've known Amala Paul for her acting skills, but she is showcased to bring glamor to the film. It will be a dream debut for Velraj in the direction. He is great with his visuals and puts all the pearls in one string. Anirudh Ravichander however, hasn't matched the level of the movie with his music but still creates his place on the screen.
What's there? The movie has dramatic and full-on entertaining story. The name of Dhanush is big enough to attract the masses, and he makes them bite fingers again. Dhanush fans will feel joyous to see him in so many roles in the movie. The direction has been great and you will enjoy Velraj's hard work. It is a treat for cinema lovers.
What's not there? Velraj should've used Amala more rather than just a glamor doll. He has failed in using his resources properly and efficiently. Music has been average and you would expect more of it in such a perfect movie.
Verdict? The movie displays quality and is masala-packed. It will entertain you every time you watch it.
