Analysis
Thudikkum Karangal is an action-drama film that applies a generic, formulaic approach in the way of it's storytelling. The movie has it’s fair share of flaws, such as the inclusion of various, different plots that take focus away from the core story. The film begins with a murder investigation, which quickly shifts to an unnecessarily detailed action sequence, and a few shots giving us a glimpse into Vemal's love life. A lot of action scenes take attention away from the storyline at the heart of the movie. However, the flashbacks throughout the movie are compelling and emotional. The confused plots make for a somewhat puzzling narrative, resulting in a chaotic interpretation of the entire movie as a whole.

Thuddikum Karangal is a decent movie for action drama enthusiasts. The plot is emotional and raw, making it a character-driven story which adds to the film’s appeal, if there is any at all. It's a slow-paced movie where you can’t wait to see what the ending will turn out like, more out of impatience than excitement.
