Plot
Kittu, a mediator, has connections in the Secretariat. He is capable of promoting or demoting anyone. He has a price for everything, and even high-ranking officials wait for his favour. Abhyankar Shankar, a political strategist, crosses paths with him, which shatters his empire. A huge scam linked with Kittu shocked the entire nation, and it was the time when everyone started searching for his roots. Who is Kittu, and what was his plan? Why was the scam linked to him? Was he the scammer?
Star Performance
Vijay Antony excels in his role. This is a tailor-made role for him. Kannan has made a decent comeback after four decades. His menacing performance is excellent. Cell Murugan is given a strong role, and he has delivered it with justice.
Analysis
The story is interesting, and the first half is gripping. The screenplay in the first half moves at a brisk pace, and it is unpredictable, too. Kudos to Arun Prabu for a fast-paced political thriller. The scam and power politics are shown elaborately. The confrontation scenes between Kannan and Vijay Antony are wonderfully designed, and those scenes elevate the entire story. Politicians, political advisors, and bureaucrats in real life come before us through some of the characters. The entire writing team had researched well and scripted the screenplay. However, the director and actor have a lot of guts to make this subject a movie. The second half has some loopholes. The dialogues are sharp and impressive. Perfect actors are cast. However, a couple of characters needed better writing, including Tripti’s. The visuals are neat. Vijay Antony’s BGM elevates some scenes well.
