Plot
Balu and Durai Ayya are considered as the saviors of the town. Sembarauthi, the cute young lady of the town thinks that Balu is Ayya’s driver and she starts romancing him, after a couple of clashes. Pechi and her family men are trying to finish off Anbu, who is the only survivor in his family for an old clash. Balu and Ayya have taken the challenge to save Anbu. They have also got the responsibility to host the festival in their town, which happens this time, after a gap of seven years. What is the plan of Pechi? Did Balu save Anbu? Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
Vishal has done his role perfectly as an action hero. Rajkiran has done his part majestically as Ayya. Keerthy Suresh doesn’t look like a template heroine, yet her role doesn’t have much importance. But, she had done her role perfectly. Varalaxmi has nothing big to do except a few sound dialogues. Johnny Hari, who played Anbu didn’t get much space to emote well.
Analysis
Vishal and Lingusamy have joined once again for the Sandakozhi sequel. The film is an action entertainer, as expected. But, certain scenes needed a grip that is absent in the film. The music by Yuvan is stunning and the BGM rocks. Varalaxmi and Johnny’s characters should have been designed better. It is exciting to see the fans shouting and whistling for Keerthy’s entry. If Keerthy watches this, surely she will get Goosebumps. The cinematography and editing are good. On the whole, the production and the technical values of the film are good.

Verdict
Sandakozhi 2 has a decent script and screenplay to attract the audiences. Although it has a few flaws, the film is definitely watchable. If you are an action film lover, surely, you will love it.
