Aparshakti Enters Kollywood With ROOT

Aparshakti is all set for a new innings with Kollywood.

According to the recent reports, the actor is all set to make his Tamil debut with a sci fi crime thriller. The film is titled ROOT, and it co-stars Gautham Karthik Gautham Karthik is the son of the popular actor Ka >> Read More... in the lead role. Sooriyaprathap S will be directing this film.

Aparshakti was involved into extra curriculars and sports, just like his elder brother Ayushmann [who is also a successful actor in Bollywood]. Though he made his debut with the comedy movie Saat Uchakkey in 2016, his breakthrough movie was the sports drama Dangal.

Initially, Aparshakti was relegated to side roles, like most other character actors. However, one OTT project changed his fortunes forever. Aparshakti’s role as the naïve projectionist turned superstar Binod Das in the web series Jubilee made him an overnight star. His subsequent appearance in the espionage drama Berlin  only cemented his status as a credible actor.
