Plot: Iyakkunar is directed by the debutante director Rajath, who is the hero of this movie too. He has done the cinematography for the movie too. Shankar Ganesh Shankar Ganesh is an on-screen Indian Actor who wo >> Read More... scores the music for this movie.

Rajath is an orphan in a village. Pandu adopts him as his son and cares him well along with his daughter. Rajath has a passion in cinema and hence he comes out from his village to shine in the cinema industry. He stays with his friends and writes a story for the cinema. After completing the story, he searches a flexible producer to film his story. Ashmitha is the daughter of the house owner and she loves Rajath one sided. But Rajath is in love with his cousin in his village.

In between the love story, he finds a producer to film his story. Later he comes to know that it is the black money, which is to be used to film his story. He denied at the beginning and then convinces himself to film it, due to his family situation. Then he films it and succeeds in his ambition. Though he achieves a great success in his movie, the Media identify him as a director, who made his film with the black money. Being frustrated by the act of the Media, Rajath opens up the details of the producers. They are now angry with Rajath and want to take revenge on him. Whether Rajath is killed by the black money activists or not? With whom did he marry? Whether he clears the bad impression on him or not is the rest of the story.

Rajath did not shine as a director and as a good actor. He has to get trained to perform in a natural way; there is something artificial in his performance. Ashmitha has done an okay job to the role given to her. The film loses its continuity and hence irritates the viewers. Shankar Ganesh’s music is good.

Iyakkunar… he has to learn more to shine as a director and as an actor!
