Plot
The perfect life of a marriage counsellor gets complicated because of her methods and techniques. How the issues are solved and back to their happy married life is the crux of this film. Along the journey, we are to witness the ups and downs of two other couples.
Star Performance
What stands out about Irugapatru are the performances, especially from Shraddha, Vidharth, and Sri; they brought to the table what was needed and played their characters well. As they played characters of regular couples having relationship issues, they created a beautiful bond with the audience.
Analysis
When action movies have become the norm in our mainstream cinema, this emotional drama breaks the pattern. Irugapatru surely would pinpoint some of the good/bad things that have happened in our love lives. If you're an emotional person, this film would most probably make you cry in many parts and for sure make you laugh on several occasions. Yuvraj intends to share relationship wisdom in the form of dialogues instead of finding a visual form to make his points. For the lead couples, the stylish interiors cannot cover up the shallow writing we find in Mitra and Manohar's relationship. Conversely, the problem in the relationship between Arjun and Divya feels quite serious, but the two of them did an admirable performance. Not to forget about Ragnesh and Pavithra's situation, the most relatable and best performed among the three. Abarnathi succeeds in reflecting on the innocence of Pavithra with her delicate body language.

Verdict
It's a must-watch romantic film; it has drama, storyline, music, and whatnot! Most importantly, audiences love simple and relatable films, and this is a remarkable example of the same. The first half makes the audience cry, and the second half teaches the solution to how to handle the family issues smoothly. Overall, it is an emotional roller-coaster ride watching this epic.
