Plot

Veera Raghavan Veera Raghavan is a skilled actor in Tamil Fim Ind >> Read More... is a RAW agent. He works on a special mission in the POK. But, due to a heart-breaking incident, he gets released from RAW. Later, he joins a security service. The security service gets a project to work in a Chennai mall, and the entire team shifts there. Soon, the terrorists hijack the mall and make the people hostages. How the hero sets the people free from the terrorists and what is his next step in cleaning up terrorism is the rest of the story.

Star Performance

Vijay impresses his fans with his stylish dance movements and stunts. Pooja Hegde is a template heroine, and she has no significant role. VTV Ganesh's comedy is passable. Selvaraghavan makes his debut as an actor with this film. Yogi Babu and Redin Kingsley's tactics didn't work. 

Analysis

Beast is yet another hostage drama we have seen for years. The difference is the mass element. Pooja Hegde, the Buttabomma, should've been given a better role. However, she is used as one of the grips in welcoming the non-Vijay fans to the theaters. Nelson has made this film as an ardent Vijay fan, which is visible. Yet, Karthik Subbaraj Karthik Subbaraj is a Tamil director. Anirudh's BGM is superb, and people shook their legs for Arabic Kuthu. The action sequences bring the mass to the film. But the makeup should have been better. The first half is good, and the second half tests the general audience. Most scenes prove that this is how a leading star movie would be.
