Ayogya is an action thriller directed by Venkat Mohan. It is a remake of Telugu film “ Temper” featuring “ N T Rama Rao Jr.” Ayogya star cast has Vishal Reddy, Raashi Khanna and “ R Parthiepan” in the main roles. The film also has the supporting cast of “ K S Ravikumar,” Devadarshini Chetan, Vamsi Krishna, “Anandaraj,” Pooja Devariya, Sonia Agarwal, “Arjai,” Yogi Babu and Sana Khan. Light House Movie Makers produced the film. Sam CS composed the songs and the BGM. VI Karthik handled the cinematography and “ Antony L Ruben” edited the film.

Karnan is a money-minded cop. He works in Thoothukudi. Kalirajan, an anti-social activist, who has a huge connection with the people in power, transfers Karnan to Chennai to favor him. Kalirajan and his brother’s atrocities lead to severe issues and a lot of people are affected by them. Karnan doesn’t care this and gets money from Kalirajan. But, the sincere Head Constable, who don’t like Karnan’s attitude didn’t respect him. Meanwhile, a girl whose sister is abducted and murdered by Kalirajan’s brothers wanted to get them punished legally. The villains, who come to know this wanted to abduct the girl too. Instead, they kidnapped Karnan’s lover by mistake. What happened next? Did Karnan save her? Did he change his attitude? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Vishal’s performance is good as a ruthless cop and Parthiepan’s performance as a gangster is excellent. Both of them excel in their body languages as well. Raashi looked good and performed what is offered to her.

Ayogya is the remake of Telugu film and hence we couldn’t stop comparing it with the original version. However, it is neatly handled by Venkat Mohan. Dialogues are similar to that of the Telugu version. The action sequences are properly choreographed and Vishal did it neatly. Sonia Agarwal’s lip-synching was not good. Raashi and Vishal scenes are well depicted. The BGM is excellent and the visuals too. Editing by Ruben is neat. If the song in the climax had been avoided the film might have a better look.

What’s There?

  • Screenplay and direction are neat
  • Performance of the stars is good
  • BGM and visuals are attractive

What’s Not There?

  • Dubbing is not good in a particular sequence
  • Climax song should have been avoided

Ayogya is a good entertainer that not only impresses the action movie fans but the romantic movie lovers too. If you didn’t watch the original version, this film would be exciting! Visit the theaters! You will not be disappointed.
