Plot
The qualities of a person are mostly from his / her parents. If the parents are good, then the children might also be good and if they are bad, by default the kids will grow with evil thoughts. A person, who has got the opportunity to study and settle in life, purposely misses it. What will be the effects, if a person wastes an opportunity? The effect is shown in Aakkam.
Star Performance
All the artists have performed well, as per the director’s order. Power Star Srinivasan plays the cameo role and just appears in a scene.
Analysis
Veludoss Gnanasamantham is the director of the film. Although the director has entered with a different concept, the lengthy scenes cause irritation to the eyes and test the patience of the viewers. However, the climax is really appreciated. The director has concentrated well in the slang and the costumes.

Yet another North Madras film with the new faces! The director has come with a message but has failed to execute it rightly. If the lengthy scenes were shortened, the film might have been a short and sweet one.
