This is the debut directorial venture of
Vijay Paramasivam
and he definitely stumbles in that. Perhaps, he should be more adept at the nuances of direction. There are nine pivotal characters in the film.Â
Plot:
Shanmuga Sundaram
is on his death bed and he discloses to his not-so loyal manager (
Nizhalgal Ravi
) about the great wealth worth Rs. 50 crores, but wait, the twist here is that, the wealth can be attained only after getting the fingerprints of Shanmugasundaram’s son, who is in a home for the mentally challenged, which is taken care of by Y G Mahendra. This secret has been eaves dropped by the servants and they in turn reveal this to some other parties. All the interested parties assume various reasons to stay at the home and a dedicated nurse is killed in the meantime. Who killed her? Who will own the huge amount? This is the crux of the story.Â
Verdict:
This story belongs to the likes of yesteryear's and the characters could have been portrayed well. The film disappoints at the performance category. Nizhalgal Ravi, Y G Mahendran and Singam Puli are the only solace of the film, while it is a let-down by the newbies.Â
Akansha Mohan does a decent job and provided she is given roles with stuff she could prove her mettle. The music of Maria Gerald reminds of several other films. Well, this film definitely didn’t steal our hearts…
