Plot

Neena is a single mother and she raises her daughter Nikita with a lot of hardships. Nikita is one such person who wants to get married through an arranged marriage. When their life goes smoothly, a twist comes in between after a military Major Unnikrishnan and a guy named Fraud become their neighbors. Who are they and what connects them with Neena and Nikita? Watch the movie to know the rest.

Star Performance

Shobana had always impressed everyone with her natural performances and she is stunning once again with her brilliant performance. Shobana's chemistry with Suresh Gopi and Kalyani is excellent. Suresh Gopi and Shobana's screen presence takes us to the good old days of "Manichitrathazhu." Suresh Gopi is unique with his performance and his character has various aspects that will definitely impress the audiences. Kalyani is right in her role and coming to Dulquer... he should be appreciated for choosing this extended cameo.

Analysis

Anoop Sathyan, the debutant director, has made an impressive debut. His script, the screenplay and the way of narration are excellent. He has attracted the audiences with simple relationship techniques. Although the script is somewhat predictable, it makes the audience stick to their place until the climax. However, the climax is not as impressive as we guessed. The songs and the visuals are good. A lot of stars are present in the film and they are just guests other than the main leads.

The climax should've been shot better

Verdict

Not only as an actor but also as the producer Dulquer Salmaan has scored well in Varane Avashyamund. With impressive performances and a fine direction, the movie is definitely watch-worthy!
