Jaya Kurup is an Indian film artist, and lives in Kattappana. Her hometown is Idukki. She worked in Malayalam film industry and also works in stage arts. She studied at Govt. Sanskrit College, Tripunithura, and attended Elamkulam West Govt. High School, Panampilly Nagar. She also studied at Mahatma Gandhi University. She has worked predominantly in the Malayalam movie industry. She is known for Malayankunju (2022), Ullozhukku (2024), Paithu Janwar (2022), and Kondal (2024). She has also worked in Ayalvaashi (2023), Sajan Bakery Since 1962 (2021). Jaya Kurup is ecstatic about the appreciation she’s receiving for her role as Gomathy in the Malayalam web series
