Plot
Recently married, A Melbourne businessman questions and starts testing his wife’s(Malayali) fidelity upon discovering his friend’s infidelity. Would he trust his wife or lose everything?
Star performance
Govind Padmasoorya and Ranjitha Menon make a great onscreen couple and have organic chemistry, making the film more enjoyable. The rest of the cast have also done a fantastic job. Navas Vallikkunnu, and Gokulan being the standouts.
Analysis
The film takes time to settle. The first half is just for building blocks, it can disappoint the audience as it does not offer anything new to the story. It has a few moments but doesn’t generate the reaction it is supposed to. The second half is where the film gets real. Film does falter in some sequences but with the convincing performances it goes well with the story. The cinematography is stunning, showing beautiful shots of Australia and its cities, towns. The film is a visual treat in this department. The music plays a significant role in enhancing the emotions and depth of the story. Yunuseo has done a fantastic job. The climax of the film is entirely predictable. Manorajyam is a film about communication and how important it is in any type of relationship, how one stupid assumption can ruin somebody’s mental peace. The film has a lot of moments and is a visual treat.
