Plot
Happy Singh is a Punjabi-Malayali boy who is in love with Mary. How they make both the families accept their love and tie the knot is the plot.
Star Performance
Kalidas has done his best. The heroine, Merin, looks beautiful. Sharafudheen has done justice to his role.
Analysis
Making a movie about cross-culture marriage is not easy. To make this lively and attractive, various characters had to be introduced and a lot of cultural differences should be portrayed. The makers had done their best. Yet, they had missed out on certain things. But it is enjoyable to watch different cultures and their traditions. Although Kalidas and Merin look good and fit in the roles, the chemistry between them is not impressive. Certain scenes seem to be lengthy and irk the audience. Emotional scenes come in the second part of the movie and the makers had tried to bring the cultural war between two families. The screenplay is predictable. If the chemistry between the stars and the scenes are crisp, the movie would have been a bit more interesting.
