Plot
An orphaned youngster becomes the ruler of the Kuntala Kingdom with his effort and deeds. How an ambitious minister, Dushtabuddhi, tries to dethrone the King and capture the Kingdom forms the rest of the story.

The actors have done what was asked.
Analysis
Though the plot is good, it is a straightforward narration. It makes us feel that the narration is outdated. The director tried to mix the dialogue, music, and dance, which resembles Kantara’s formula. Though the actors are dedicatedly performed, some scenes make us feel that they are going over the top to overtake each other. The film gives us a play-watching experience rather than a movie. Too much graphics usage is seen for this genre. The director tried to attract the Yakshagana fans to the film but didn’t succeed fully.
