Plot
Some villagers are mysteriously dying near the riverbank. When the King seeks a solution, the priest finds a cursed doll, created by a sorcerer to safeguard the borders of another kingdom. The priest suggests a buffalo sacrifice and requests that the King follow it for generations. Years move on, and Narayana has a robot, Jogi, which predicts fortunes. Narayana lost his wife, Lakshmi, but leads a life between reality and illusion. When he encounters a drama troupe, led by Master, his life takes a turn. Narayana moves to Koluru village with them, where the buffalo sacrifices are done. After Narayana’s arrival, Koluru stirs some events. What happens next forms the rest of the story.

Analysis
The first half of the film moves well with interesting incidents, which are a mixture of humour and horror. The second half doesn’t have enough grip as the first half. The light comedy and supernatural elements are mixed well. The flashback portion is a bit lengthy. It should’ve been trimmed. Similarly, the subplots also hindered the story’s flow. The climax didn’t land well. The role of the buffalo should’ve been strongly linked to the story. Animal sacrifice, caste divisions, and superstitious beliefs should’ve been rooted with depth. The spirit’s arc is shown well, but it is not complete emotionally. The VFX is decent, though not fantastic.

Verdict
The film has all the entertaining elements, despite its flaws. It is definitely watchable once for its interesting plot and performances.
