Plot
Mithun, an eleven-year-old boy, was living with his parents and sister in Mumbai. When his father died all of a sudden, unable to bear his loss, his mother committed suicide, leaving Mithun and his baby sister as orphans. Mithun’s aunt takes him and his sister to Bangalore from Mumbai. What is Mithun’s mindset after losing his parents? Was he able to come out of his trauma? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Athish has performed well as per the director’s guidance. His mild expressions are good. The supporting stars did their job well.
Analysis
The story may appear simple. But it carries the emotional turmoil of a kid. He had to shift his body and mind entirely to a new situation. Unlike adults, the kids are unable to come out of the loss quickly, as they lost not their relatives or friends but their parents. The climax can neither be concluded as an open one nor a complete one. It makes the audience still question the kid’s mentality. This performance needs a lot of training, and the director has trained Athish well. The supporting characters are written neatly, and the right actors are placed. The visuals and the editing are neat. The BGM is good.
