Plot
Viraj is a money lender in a market. He stays with his friends. In a particular situation, he has a clash with Geetha. But, when Geetha comes to know about Viraj, she falls for him. After they started loving each other, he has to narrate about his family background. Viraj is basically from a well settled and a noted family. With a small misunderstanding, his mom Anjana Devi sends him out and Viraj has to lead a simple life. As the situation forces him to keep his mouth shut, Viraj couldn’t explain to his mother that he didn’t commit any mistake. After all, as Viraj is a very obedient son to Anjana, he never opposes her. So, he gets out from the house, as a mark of respect to his mom’s words. When he comes to know that the villains target his family, he takes his action avatar, to save his big joint family from the villains. This is all about Anjaniputra.
Star Performance
As usual, Appu has done his part well in sentiment, action and romance. Ramya Krishnan’s performance is notable, although she has a limited screen presence. Rashmika has nothing more to do, except romancing Appu.
Analysis
Harsha has chosen a right script from “

,” to match the expectations of Puneeth’s fans. With a few changes from the original movie Poojai, the film gives a good commercial entertainment. Harsha is completely loyal to Hari and he hadn’t made any significant changes to the script or screenplay. Punch dialogues, action sequences and song sequences are filled in this film to make it a complete commercial entertainer.

Verdict
The film is a complete dedication to Appu fans, who want their Powerstar to deliver punch dialogues and toast the villains. A couple of duet songs and the hero intro songs are sure to attract Puneeth’s ardent fans. Anjaniputra – A good commercial cake
