Plot:

The kids already hate their arrogant guardian, and Ranbeer too is infuriated with this new responsibility.
Enter Geeta, God’s favourite Angel, who gels with the children instantly and helps them in their tough times. Ranbeer and the kids are united but gets smitten by Geeta, in spite of having Malaika ( Ameesha Patel Ameesha Patel was born on 9th June 1975. She is an >> Read More... ) as his girlfriend.

Analysis:
Blatantly inspired from Sound Of Music and even Amir and Juhi’s Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, the script written by Kunal Kohli One of the prominent faces in the industry of Boll >> Read More... (who’s also the director) is nowhere close to being original. The film is designed for kids and it remains as a kid’s film throughout, with family values and patriotism thrown in. The highly predictable script would fail to impress the adults.
Star Performances:
The leads Saif and Rani are just average. The script doesn’t leave much room in the acting department anyway. The kids are adorable! Their antics keeps you amused for the most part.
Also, the special appearance as the God (I won’t reveal the name!) was also a pleasant surprise.
What’s there?
1. Some impressive special effects. It could have been a deal-breaker if it wasn’t, as you’re catering to a young audience.
2. The comic parts come time and again so that one isn’t bored during the runtime.
3. The music by the ever-so-dependable Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
What’s not there?
1. Originality.
2. Just wished the makers should have thought of the adults who would accompany the kids.
3. The presence of a song like “Lazy Lamhe” in a kid’s film. It wasn’t at all appropriate and could have been easily avoided.
Verdict:
While the film isn’t brilliant in any way and some may prefer Ta Ra Rum Pum over this, it is a one-time watch.
