Plot

Analysis
“Mystery of the Tattoo”, crafted by writer-director Kalaiarasi Sathappan, opens with the unexpected accident where world renowned artist Ms Chitra Devi (Ameesha Patel). Her demise leaves behind an unfinished painting, and there are a series of questions left unanswered. Detectives take help of Aathmika (Daisy Shah), to figure out about the hidden meaning and clues in the painting. Due to this, she started to experience deadly psychological and hallucination events. While Vikram’s character had so much depth and meaning, the actor could have shown more confidence and emotion to justify his character. The cinematography of the film was good and well executed. However, there was no intense background music to support the scenes.

Verdict
Despite the intriguing hook, it is disappointing as it lacks the suspense thriller element. Overall, I was disappointed as I had expectations with it. If you’re into a murder mystery, you can try it.
