Tere Bin Laden was a wonderful film and can even be regarded as one of the greatest flicks made in the last few years. And now it’s derivation, a sort of spin-off, has been made with the hope of entertaining the audiences.

Osama passes away in mysterious circumstances, and the desi director is asked to helm direction for an English film by the Central Intelligence Agency. The motive of the action is to film a fraud tape that confirms Osama’s death. Alas! things turn haywire when a terrorist group from Pakistan takes control of the situation to confirm that Osama is indeed up and running!

Star Performances

Manish Paul and Sikander Kher give sincere performances. Pradhuman Singh does a convincing job.

Tere Bin Laden of 2010 didn’t go unnoticed by the audience. But the irony is that director Abhishek Sharma is not able to be meet the expectations this time. The wit acted as the forte of Tere Bin Laden, and it is pitiably absent in this movie. What happened Abhishek Sharma?

What’s there?

  • Chandan Arora’s editing elevates the film in a fair manner.
  • The Olympia E Dehshat is one sequence that proves to be harmlessly eccentric.

What's not there?

  • The story doesn’t make an impact.
  • The dialogues could have been penned in a better manner.
  • The comedy element works only in parts.
  • Dhruv Dhalla’s music lack life.
  • Chaudhary Amalendu could have done better work with his camera.

If you go to the movie with the idea of viewing a good piece as the first part, then re-consider your decision. The spin-off works only in bits and pieces.
