Konkona Sen Sharma is a Bollywood actress hailing from Kolkata, West Bengal. She was born on 3 December 1979 in a Bengali family. She completed her schooling at the Calcutta International School and later moved to Delhi for a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Delhi University’s most prestigious college- St. Stephen’s. Cinema has already been existent in her genetic roots. Her mother, Aparna Sen, is a noted actress and director in Bengali cinema. Moreover, she is the granddaughter of Chidananda Dasgupta, a film critic who also established the Calcutta Film Society. In 1983, the four-year-old Konkona was first seen on the big screen in a Bengali film titled ‘Indira’. Her official Tollywood debut was in 2000 in ‘Ek Je Aachhe Kanya,’ for which she was awarded at the Bengal Film Journalists' Association Awards (2002).

Ashi Dua is an Indian film producer, famously recognized for producing films such as Ghost Stories (2020), Lust Stories (2018), and The Ghazi Attack (2019). Ashi was born in Bareilly, a small town near Uttar Pradesh. She finished her schooling at All Saints and Sherwood and went to Delhi University for higher studies. During her college days, she interned with the television channel 'NDTV' on 'We the People' and 'The Big Fight' and even with an event company before she transitioned to production business. She moved to Mumbai in 2005 and joined St. Xavier's College. Since then, Ashi has been residing in Mumbai.

Madhumita Sen is an Indian art director and production designer. She went to the Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship and did her post-graduation at the Film and TV Institute of India, Pune. She has worked for famous companies such as Sony Liv, Red Chillies Entertainment, Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, and Illuminati Films. 

Tamannaah Bhatia is a well known actress in Tamil and Telugu film industry with lots of fan following. Chand Sa Roshan Chehra was her first Hindi movie, in the year 2005. Her Telugu debut was Sri and the Tamil debut was Kedi. In Kedi, she did a negative role and the movie did not go well. It was also the debut movie for Ileana, the South Indian popular actress. Tamannaah Bhatia acted in Vyapari with director S.J.Suryah; but she did not get a good recognition. After she performed in Balaji Sakthivel’s Kalloori, she became notable. Her performance in that film was appreciated by everyone. Similarly, her Telugu film Happy Days was also a super hit and got her good name. Tamannaah Bhatia steadied her market by choosing good films.

Born on 5th August 1974, Kajol was the heartthrob of Indians during her peak. Her main region of interest is Hindi cinema. Out of the eleven nominations Kajol had got 6 Filmfare awards. In fact, she has a record of winning Best Actress Filmfare Award 5 times in her career. This is matched only by her aunt Nutan. She is also the proud recipient of Padmashree award.

Mrunal Thakur is a television and film actress who is popular for bagging the role of Sakshi in the action crime television series, Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek Arjun on STAR Plus. She was born on August 1, 1992 at Nagpur, India. Mrunal was brought up in Mumbai. She studied at KC College in South Mumbai and took up journalism before landing into the field of acting. She came from an orthodox family so she had a hard time convincing her parents and uncles to enter the television industry. She started when she was just 15 years old through a Marathi documentary drama.

When she was studying in college, a friend adviced her to audition and she got the lead character role as Gauri Bhonsle Gaikwad in Hemant Devdhar soap, Mujhse Kuchh Kehti… Yeh Khamoshiyaan, opposite with Siddharth Kapoor (played by Mohit Sehgal). Recently, she played the role of Bulbul Arora, sister of Pragya Abhishek Prem Mehra (played by Sriti Jha) in the drama serial, Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV which was directed by Ekta Kapoor. 

She also appeared in the silver screen through the film Rangkami in year 2013. She was also given a spot in the romantic comedy film, Jab We Met in 2007 by Shahid and Kareena Kapoor. Mrunal was also roped in to do a role in a Marathi film, Hello Nandan by Shashi-Sumeet Mittal. She played the role of Ruby, Nandan’s another love interest. Later, she did a pivotal role as Sandhya in the Marathi film, Viti Dandu which was directed by Ganesh Kadam. This year, in another Marathi film, she bagged the role of Dr. Swapna Bhosale in Surajya under the direction of Santosh Manjrekar

Tillotama Shome is an Indian actress who is known for her performance in the movie Monsoon Wedding directed by Mira Nair. Shome was born in Kolkata. Since her father was in Indian Air Force, Shome was raised in different states. After completing her high school education, Shome went to Lady Shri Ram College ion Delhi. There she joined the Arvind Gaur’s theater group. She went to the United States for pursuing her post-graduation in educational theater from New York University. After completing her post-graduation, she worked as a teaching artist at the University of New York. She taught theater in a US Prison to third-degree convicts. She stayed in New York for four years. In 2008, she returned to India and took up a residence in Mumbai. She was approached by Mira Nair to feature in her film Monsoon Wedding. She portrayed the role of Alice in the movie. After that, she was offered the role of Deepa in the movie Shadows of Time directed by Florian Gallenberge. She also appeared in an Australian movie named The Waiting City directed by Claire McCarthy, in which she played the role of a nun. She also starred in a movie named Gangor directed by Italo Spinelli, which was based on Mahashweta Devi’s novel. She played the role a social worker in the movie. She also appeared in Tasher Desh directed by Qaushiq Mukherjee.

And these Directors have assistants for themselves to help them carry out the hustling task of going through hundreds of profiles. Shruti Mahajan, a Jaipur bred Casting Director is relatively new to this arena. Shruti has around two and a half years invested in the industry and has already been applauded for her work by many. 
It was Sameer Sharma who was convinced that Shruti needed to be in the Bollywood industry somehow and saw something in her. He later gave her first Yash Raj opportunity in YRF itself as an Assistant Casting Director. Shruti had a contract of one year with YRF and had already got the taste of Bollywood, and her knack to cast the spot on faces grew tremendously. Married to Cinematographer Sachin Krishn, Shruti turned a new leaf and got acquainted with the eat-breathe-live cinema lifestyle. She successfully holds her own Casting agency today. 
From Jaipur to Mumbai, being a Casting Director was not something that was planned and executed for this young woman. Shruti reckons the times where she was expected to be like any other girl- to have a degree and a morning till evening job at a big MNC. She did, however, did her part of getting a degree (MBA) and was working for an MNC until Bollywood came calling. 
This light-hearted woman shares her working experience with big names like Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She has the credit of three films for Bhansali Productions so far, and unquestionably it has enriched her experience in the field. Ramleela, Mary Com, and Baaji Rao Mastaani are the three prominent movies which helped Shruti grow to great heights in her career. BaajiRao Mastaani being Magnum Opus of Bhansali, Shruti considers herself blessed to have gotten the opportunity. She was hesitant in the beginning to work for Bhansali as the level of expectation is always high, but she was able to do a fantastic job with the casting for the film. She believes it is not just about the three protagonists Ranbir, Deepika, and Priyanka but getting each supporting actor for the movie was vital, and it accounts for the wholeness and perfection of the movie. She says it is so very important to have right cast as some directors ask for a perfect actor for a particular role. 
Shruti has around fifteen movies for her long list of successful ventures. In a short time of just two and a half years, Shruti has certainly made a name for herself. Casting Priyanka for Mary Com and Jai Gangajal took a lot of visionary efforts by Shruti. To be able to envision the actor for a certain role, given by the Director, and then going with guts needs experience and moreover needs that kind of talent. Shruti not only depends on a screen test of an actor but depends hugely on her gut feeling and intuition. She says that her intuition works beyond all the auditions and screen tests. 
When asked about working with various directors, Shruti says she loves her job, but it also involves a lot of thought process and understanding a director’s way of thinking. To be able to catch a director’s vision and his/her expectation from the character is a skill to possess and Shruti seems to have got that. She started out with Chkravyuh and Satyagrah with Prakash Jha and went on to cast for his later movie Jai Gangajal. The funny cast of Finding Fanny was her doing, and so was Shamitabh, which obviously has Amitabh Bachan in it and also a new face of Akshara Hassan in it. Her latest installment was Sarbjit which has Aishwarya, Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda in it, giving a powerhouse performance. 
Addressing issues about the role of Casting Director in a movie, Shruti says that there is only so much you can do as a CD. One can only suggest and find a fresh face and discuss them with the director. She can, up to the maximum influence her opinions about an actor to the Director, the final call is the Director. She ultimately has to respect what a Director needs. Shruti enjoys her work to the fullest and like every other CD, she too wishes to launch fresh faces into the industry as she says it her small way of contributing to the world of Cinema.

Amit Ravindernath Sharma is a well-known director and producer of Indian origin. He primarily worked as a director of television commercials early in his career. He was born in Delhi, India. Amit began his career in the film industry after connecting with director Pradeep Sarkar while still in school. After graduating, he worked with Sarkar for six years before moving to Mumbai in 2001. In 2004, Amit Sharma founded his own company, Chrome Pictures, with Aleya Sen and Hemant Bhandari. Tiya Tejpal is a well-known production designer in the Indian film industry. She was born and raised in India and went on to study at Hampshire College in the United States, where she graduated in 2009. After completing her education, Tiya returned to India and began her career in the Bollywood film industry as an Assistant Director. While working as an AD on the film Life of Pi, Tiya discovered her passion for the work done in the Art department. Shailendra Singh Sodhi famously known as Shelle, is an Indian Lyricist in Bollywood born in Ambala. He is the son of a renowned poet-writer Himmat Singh Sodhi. He was naturally attracted to verses, stories and literary works from a young age. He sought after theater from Ambala Cantt and Punjab University, and in 1995 moved to Mumbai to help Gulzar. He was asked to act in "Gulzar, but he lacked confidence, and chose to direct it. He moved forward and backward to Mumbai for a long time, doing apparition composing, interpretations for stations like Discovery, writing for shows like "Surbhi', notwithstanding being a Censor Board. Cheragh Todiwala is an editor, producer, and post-production manager based in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. He has completed his schooling in Saint. Joseph's School, Orlem Malad. Cheragh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Media Studies from R. D. National in Bandra. He worked as a film editor for many years before joining Red Chillies Entertainment as a Post Production Manager.
