Aesha Merchant is an established costume and wardrobe stylist. She was the wardrobe stylist for Ghoomer, which premiered at the 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne on 11 August 2023. She is also known for the film Chup, released in 2022, for which she handled the costume department. Aesha Merchant considers her grandmother her fashion icon, who always wore all jewellery with a good sense of dressing. Her grandmother wore impeccable and neatly dressed clothing with lipstick on the day she passed away.
The same thing has been passed on to Aesha's mother, fascinated by bags and shoes. Aesha Merchant, born in Mumbai and raised in New Zealand, has always been interested in fashion styling and designing. She now works with the biggest production houses, styles Bollywood celebrities' clothing, and runs her vintage clothing brand, RedEmpress.
