Plot
Laal Singh Chaddha falls in love with Rupa. After she leaves him, he discovers himself in a particular stage. Though he is disappointed by Rupa’s actions, he finds a new himself in his journey. What happens next? Did he meet her again? Did they unite in life? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Aamir Khan’s performance is stunning as usual. His chemistry with Kareena is impressive. Kareena Kapoor has done justice to the given role. Mona Singh has given a decent performance. Naga Chaitanya did what is asked.
Analysis
The story is inspired by Forrest Gump and is altered for Bollywood sensibilities. Aamir Khan always picks different roles. This is one of his interesting roles, and his comedy has worked out well. The stars are picked well, and they fit well in the given characters. Though the story is good, it makes the audience feels bad for its slow pace, especially in the second half. The film is technically good. The cinematography and BGM are pretty decent.
