Plot: The story revolves around the unstable condition of road contractors in Satara. is one of them. The lightening falls on him when his payment is held by the corporation. He decides to sue them while his other family members are busy struggling with other woes of life. He had abused her during their college time, and now she is all set to take revenge from him. The movie portrays the comical way in which he deals with this issue, an elephant, and other things. He lands into major problems when he is accused of sexual molestation and threatening Trisha’s brother. What will the consequences be then?
Analysis: This movie is not a comedy. It isn’t the typical Priyadarshan movie. Taking up a deeply rooted issue like corruption, even the most serious scenes are destroyed due to the comedy attached to it. The plot seems to be disappointing because the solution offered to the problem is ridiculous.KhattaMeetha is a really insensitive movie with loudness prevailing much than anything else.
Star Performance: Akshay Kumar is the only start of the movie. His honest efforts and commendable acting skills actually bring him up as a shining star. On the other hand, his co-star Trisha could not match up to him. She is absurd in scenes that require strength.
What is there?
1. Bad direction by Priyadarshan.
2. A fiasco!
3. Wrongly placed songs with no feelings.
What is not there?
1. Jokes at which you can actually act.
2. A skilled female protagonist.
3. Witty dialogues.
4. Good screenplay.
Verdict: And just as it has “I’m allergic to bullshit”, I’m pretty sure this applies to everybody watching this film. This comedy is a flop and has nothing to pull you towards it.
