Plot

Abhi is the son of a wealthy businessman.  His father, Siddhant Kumar Sharma, is overprotective of him. He is very controlling of each one in the family. Abhi wants to do something on his own, but his father constantly interrupts his decision. He becomes his father's doll, who is controlled by him. He wants Abhi to take care of his business as he wants to retire peacefully. Abhi is frustrated about his father’s overprotective nature. Due to his father's pressure, Abhi agrees to marry Kajal who is a wealthy man's daughter. He is not happy with this decision but has to accept it. Later Abhi falls in love with middle-class Muskaan Mathur. He doesn’t know that he had met her father in an incident.  Both of them fall in love with each other. Siddhant doesn’t like it and tells Abhi to break up with Muskaan. He did not like how Abhi was not listening to his words. Due to Abhi's request, Siddhant gives Muskaan a chance to prove herself a suitable wife for Abhi. He gives her a period, time of one week to prove her worth. A lot of hardships was going on in their life. Even Muskaan’s father didn’t like their relationship. What will happen to Muskaan? Will Abhi and Muskaan's love story will have a happy ending?  The rest of the plot deals with it.

Star Performance

Harman Baweja played the role of  Abhishek "Abhi" Sharma. The handsome man had won the hearts of many fans. His dialogue delivery is perfect. Genelia D'Souza was perfect for the role of Muskaan Mathur. Her cuteness has made everyone fall in love with her. The romance between Harman and Genelia was adorable and perfect. Both of them look like an ideal pair. Nana Patekar was perfect as Siddhant Kumar Sharma. He will portray the role of an overprotective father. Patekar did a great job in dialogue delivery. All the other actors were as good as the main lead actors.

Analysis

The storyline of the film was great, funny, and full of drama. The film describes the overprotective nature of parents and how it affects children. The film is based on the Telugu film Bommarillu. The dramatic elements are well shown from the start till the end. The love story of Abhi and Muskaan is cute in the film. The background music and songs play a significant role in the movie. The dialogues were excellent. The storyline is a typical romance drama script, but it is entertaining.

It is an excellent movie to watch for relaxation. The actors were perfect in the film. It is a great film that loves romance and drama.
