This film is about the fashion industry, which reveals the life of models behind the flashy lights of the camera.
The film is based on the life of the three models Meghna Mathur, Shonali Gujral, Janet Sequeira respectively played by Priyanka Chopra, KanganaRanaut, and MugdhaGodse. The film shows the ups and down of their life, how they struggle to make their name in this shiny world. Priyanka Chopra plays the role of small town girl from Chandigarh, who wants to be a model. What happens to her life when she moves to Mumbai? Kangana plays the role of a highly successful model who has messed in her personal life and gets addicted to drugs, and her downfall starts as her behavior gets worse with her team. How she recovers from there and who supports her? Mugdha plays the role of a model who has been in the industry for a long time but not a very famous face. Later, she marries a guy. The guys turn to be gay, he married her just to show the industry that he is not gay. Mugdha fights with this issue in the whole film. The film reveals lots of such facts about glamor industry including the casting couch and other dark sides.
The trust of director reflects in Priyanka’s performance. She is remarkable, impactful and extraordinary with her acting. She played all the shades in a stylish way, and she looked ravishing. Kangana’s performance is also noticeable in the movie; she has given proper thrust to her character. Mugdha looks confident, but her acting is not like her looks, she has to work hard. Arbaaz Khan and Arjan Bajwa do well with their roles. Raj Babbar does wonderfully as Priyanka’s Father.
The director Madhur Bhandarkar again did a marvelous job with his direction. He again created a touchy film which shows the faulty part of the otherwise shining world. He is good in making realistic films. The film looks great with pleasant music. There is very little problem with the editing section of the film. The film could have been at least 10-minute shorter.

The film has drama and emotion, but it’s a film for a specific class of audience. If you like the realistic story, then it is the film you should watch.
