Reluctantly he leaves. Next day, is his resignation day, he goes there, expecting a nice send-off. Instead, he comes to know everyone blames him for the lost machine and calls him a thief. Over a period of next days, his health goes from bad to worse, due to depression. During his death moments, his 21-year-old son, promises him, that he would get his dad the honor of Ekkees toppon ki salami ( Salute of 21 guns ). Will his son be able to keep up his promise?
Ravindra Gautam brings us a unique story, with a screenplay that doesn’t even flatter for a second. The director does an amazing job of extracting proper emotions from all actors. The script of the movie is unyielding. The screenplay has been divided into proper parts. The only thing that is lacking is dialogues. Another huge drawback is the music of the film, which is like a disturbance in the movie and doesn’t flow along with the movie at all. Some twists are predictable, but the overall feel good fact about the movie is why the movie is worth watching.
Anupam Kher, dead or alive, acts both the parts with superb precision and shows of his immense acting experience. Devyendu Sharma, is a very underrated actor, who shines through in his acting in this movie. Neha Dupia is again typecast in the same type of role as, she is already used to do, and she doesn’t disappoint. Manu Rishi , too , shows a powerful performance on his part.
