She was born in Kochi to a Punjabi Sikh family. Her mother was a homemaker while her father was in the Indian Navy.  The actress made heads turn with her fearless and carefree look in the film she appeared so far. 

Without any film background, the young, effervescent and confident Miss India girl has carved a niche for herself in the Media industry with her spontaneous acting.
