Children of war are movies based on the nine-month struggle that resulted in the formation of Bangladesh The movies show the real struggle of women who faced rape and violence when the Bangladesh is was getting separated.
Plot:
There is an army chief who is very evil and cruel who believes that Pakistani soldier should rape and impregnate Bangladeshi women. Who will produce kids who will be neither of the east neither of the west which will prevent the formation of Bangladesh and the women who can’t produce kids should be killed, which results in mass genocide and the film shows very violent rape and mass murders scenes that are sometimes horrible for a normal person?

Analysis:
As it is a documentary type of movie it needed a lot of research. The director researched this topic for 12 months before writing this movie. There are many scenes that you can compare with the Hollywood movies based on mass murders and genocides. Many bloodshed and violent scenes sometimes make it difficult to watch. But the actual struggle for 9 month that was faced by Bengali people at that particular time has been showcased very well.
Star performance:
Children of war do not have a star cast. But Pavan Malhotra performed quite well in his role of a cruel army chief. Farooq Sheik also did justice to his role in this film.
What’s there?
1. Actual historical events that will tell you what happened during the time of separation.
2. Some scene will make you emotional and will make you think for a second.
What’s not there?
1. Typical Bollywood stuff, pleasant scenes, and music.
2. A good screenplay is missing.Â
