But Rumi’s family gets them caught red-handed. So, he is put in a pressured situation to get Rumi married. But Vicky is in no mood to get married. Later Robbie comes between them as a prospective suitor brought by a local matchmaker. Robbie comes to know about Rumi and Vicky. Although he knows about their relationship, he is interested in marrying Rumi. What is the reason? Watch the movie in theatres!

Star Performance

All the three leading stars had performed their best. Taapsee had performed brilliantly and this is the best performance in her career, so far. Similarly, Vicky had played excellently well. Abhishek proved his worth and his performance is excellent and he played a different role too.

Unlike his previous movies, Anurag Kashyap had brought a different script. He had handled the relationship issues differently. Kanika Dhillon's script is unique. The narration by Anurag Kashyap is brilliant and the dialogues are very sharp. The music composition by Amit Trivedi is good and the BGM gels with the script. The cinematography by Sylvester is neat and editing by Aarti Bajaj is appreciable.

What's There?

  • Different script with a neat screenplay
  • Excellent performance of the stars
  • BGM, cinematography and editing are good

What's Not There?

  • Except for some minor flaws nothing could be seen as a big negative

Manmarziyaan is a good entertainer that explains the relationship, love and family life from a different perspective. Manmarziyaan - watch worthy
