’, the sequel of the TV series, ‘Green Hornet’. Fighting crime goes to a whole new level.
Plot:
Britt Reid and Jay Chou get along to form their own team to fight crime in Los Angeles. After his father’s death, Britt owns the newspaper company, "Daily Sentinel". Dressing up as criminals, their ride begins as "The Green Hornet". They kick the ass of crime on the street and all over the city. Suddenly, the duo's face a leadership issue. Britt tries to take the credit for all their work, which makes Jay mad and he quits. With no “Green Hornet”, the city is crawling with criminals. In the meanwhile, a gang is in search for the Green Hornet and wants him dead at any cost. What happens to the Green Hornet, how they rejoin to face the crime in the city concludes the end.
Analysis:
The movie didn’t give us much expectation, as the story was almost the same as the TV series, the entertainment was not at its level best. Still with the same storyline, the movie was not that bad.
Star performance:
Britt, Jay, and Diaz did good work in the plot, but with an expected plot, the twists and turns don’t amaze us much. Britt was too good, so was Jay, but it was not a story to hope for expectations.
What’s there?
1. Comedy and crime keeps to our seats.
2. Small part by Cameron Diaz.
What’s not there?
1. Nothing new in the plot.
2. Same old story with new cast.
Verdict:
Watch it for kickass action, crime fighting and some comedy too.
